About the Degree

Upon collaborating with thirteen institutions in Nepal, Lincoln University College Malaysia provides a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) Program that leading foreign universities are involved in. The BIT program lasts 3 years and students earn a total of 127 credit hours by taking 6 semester courses. The program follows global academic requirements and is delivered in several different sites in Nepal. The price of this program is between NPR 7-10 lakhs, depending on where you study.

The IT curriculum is made following practices that are well recognized around the world. The program brings together theory and skills needed to make sure graduates succeed in today’s rapidly changing IT world. As well as the main subjects, the program allows students to pick from a range of electives based on what they want to do in the future. All the main subjects in IT are covered, like software development, network administration, database systems, web technologies, internet services, as well as classes in management, communication and human behavior to make sure students become versatile IT specialists.

The BIT program teaches students both the technical and scientific parts of IT and how it affects society and organizations. Graduates are prepared for real-world situations because the course develops their technical skill and their ability to work well with others. Thanks to the program’s structure, students are able to focus on network security or develop mobile and web applications following their career interests. Students completing the Bachelor of Information Technology program are ready to succeed in both business settings, the public sector, schools and academic centers and healthcare organizations. Graduates have the abilities needed for different job roles in IT. After graduation from BIT, many choose to pursue jobs such as:

· Software Engineers

· System Analysts

· System Integrators

· Information Security Officers

· Network Administrators

· Technical Support Managers
